1 cup flour
¼ tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 Tbs. butter
3 eggs
Preheat oven to 450*. Popovers need bottom
heat.
All ingredients should be room
temperature.
Mix 1 cup flour and ¼ tsp.
salt.
Mix room temperature milk and eggs
together.
Beat ingredients together until
smooth.
Lightly grease popover pan and divide
butter evenly into the six cups.
Preheat pan in oven for 3-5
minutes.
Carefully pour popover mixture into cups ¾
full. Do not over fill cups as they will become dense.
Place in hot oven for 15 minutes then, without peeping, lower oven
temperature to 350* for 20 more minutes.
Poke popovers w/ sharp knife to allow
steam to escape and bake 5 minutes longer.
Remove from oven, let cool for a few
minutes and plate w/ butter and favorite jam/jelly.
It’s a piece of cake!!!
Aloha!
