Mary’s Beef Tinaktak
2-3 Tbsp olive oil
5 Garlic cloves minced
½ Large onion chopped
1 Can coconut milk
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Cups cherry tomatoes cut in
half
2 Cups long or green beans
2-3 lbs. Ground beef
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a hot pot, saute oil garlic, garlic and
onions 2-3 mins.
Add beef, cook until brown. Drain excess
liquid.
Add beans, cook until tender. Make sure you
have enough liquid in pot to cook beans.
Add coconut milk, simmer for 5
mins.
Add tomatoes and lemon juice.
Season to taste.
You can substitute different cuts of Beef,
and your favorite green vegetable if you wish.
Finadene
1 Cup soy sauce.
Juice of 1 lemon.
½ med onion sliced thin.
Chili peppers to taste.
Handful of cherry tomatoes cut in half.
Place in a bowl and add sauce to your
rice.
